Founder and President, Maner B. Shaw is a graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Class of 1980. Utilizing his degree in Petroleum Land Management he began his career as an Independent Landman serving various brokerage firms and independent partners. After a decade of considerable growth and development he established Shaw Interests, Inc., and thereby forged the way for a greater level of service. Since its inception Shaw Interests has participated in significant exploration and development projects throughout Texas, South East New Mexico, Wyoming, Colorado and Montana.

Luke H. Shaw rejoined Shaw Interests, Inc. as Vice President in January 2024, bringing over fifteen years of experience as a petroleum landman and more than a decade of in-house land management experience. He began his landman career with Shaw Interests, Inc. as a summer intern while attending college, and following graduation before stepping away to work independently for several years. He served as Land Manager at Stanolind Oil and Gas, and as Vice President – Land at Mammoth Exploration LLC, managing the companies’ land departments and their operated and non-operated assets in Texas and New Mexico on fee, state, and federal lands. An AAPL Registered Professional Landman since 2012, Mr. Shaw has expertise in contract negotiation, title research, acquisitions and divestitures, asset and project management, and regulatory compliance. Mr. Shaw holds a BBA in Management from The University of Texas at San Antonio.
